The Life of Photography Cameras have come a long way since it was first invented in 1816 by  Nicéphore Niépce. Since then cameras have been used to record the change of life, sightseeing and important events. For example, people used it to show what other countries were going through. Like tornadoes, aftermath of earthquakes, war and such.   The first photo of space was recorded by the V-2 #13 rocket which was launched on October 24th of 1946. Here was a photo of the Cape Canaveral lau nch in July of 1950. Other photographers were there to also capture the moment.
